AMC combining Product Division, United Rotorcraft Solutions

AMC announced Oct. 10 it was combining the powerhouse brands of our Products Division and United Rotorcraft Solutions to form a new unified brand - United Rotorcraft, an Air Methods Division.

Earlier this year AMC purchased United Rotorcraft Solutions (URS) which helped expand our overhaul and completion services to a wider variety of markets. Prior to that acquisition we had many internal discussions about renaming “Products Division” to a name that was more reflective of the business. Our new United Rotorcraft brand is the culmination of both those efforts.

With facilities in Englewood, Colorado and Decatur, Texas, this new combination of expertise, precision, and dedication to enhancing the delivery of services for aircraft completions, refurbishments, painting, overhaul and maintenance for more than just Helicopter Emergency Medical Services operations. In fact, we also support customers from Military, VIP, Law Enforcement, and Search and Rescue operations.

This brand will remain under the Air Methods umbrella and will support the company’s vision of delivering high-quality interior solutions and unequalled customer support.

United Rotorcraft will continue to be a division within the company’s architecture under the leadership of Tom Curtis. We have gone to great lengths to create the corporate brand of Air Methods, which is synonymous with product class, and ask for your support with the new name of United Rotorcraft as we integrate it into our brand portfolio.
