AMKY Staff Earn EMS Partnership Awards from
FRMC
Frankfort
Regional Medical Center held its first annual EMS Recognition Dinner on
May 13.
The hospital, which is working towards Level III Trauma
Center recognition, introduced their "Outstanding EMS Partner Awards" in
recognition of EMS contributions to excellent patient care, team work, and
collaboration with healthcare partners.
Frankfort Fire and EMS,
Anderson County EMS, and Air Methods Kentucky were each included in the
awards, and from Air Methods Kentucky those staff members with the most
nominations were Flight Paramedic Tim Dixon, Flight Paramedic Phil Knecht,
and Flight Nurse Martin "Moe" Nethery.
Mr. Knecht was recognized as
the recipient for Air Methods Kentucky of the 2010 Frankfort Regional
Medical Center Outstanding EMS Partner Award.
Learning that our
staff members have received special recognition from a customer is very
encouraging for Air Methods Kentucky, and we are very proud of - and
congratulate - Tim Dixon, Phil Knecht, Moe Nethery, and all of the staff
at Kentucky 5 for their efforts in earning this special customer
recognition.
