Natural Bridge Health Symposium Set for this Summer

Pre-Register by June 9 for a $5 discount

The Natural Bridge Health Symposium will be taking place July 9-11 at Natural Bridge State Park Resort, presented by Air Methods Kentucky, Estill County EMS, and Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital.

This special continuing education event will bring together learning and leisure, concentrating on rural medical emergencies in the pre-hospital and emergency department settings within a spectacular and relaxing learning environment at the park’s Hemlock Lodge. Regional experts will present current topics in trauma, cardiac, stroke, obstetrical, and pediatric care and management, and exhibitors will be on hand to demonstrate and explain their latest medical products, equipment,
and services.

The three-day symposium begins Friday evening with an airway workshop. Presentations continue Saturday and Sunday and conclude by late afternoon, allowing time for everyone to enjoy the state resort park's many amenities. Saturday's lunch will feature an old-fashioned summer-time "Cookout with the Vendors." Attendees are encouraged to dress comfortably, bring along their families, and enjoy the rustic outdoors of eastern Kentucky.

Event pre-registration is now available at www.ekyemssymposium.com, and brochures with registration forms are in the process of being mailed (the brochure is also available for download on the website). Attendees pre-registering by June 9 will receive a $5 discount off the $55 registration fee.
