New Corporate Media Site Now Available

Air Methods now has an Internet site designed specifically for the news media and other customers: www.AirMethodsMedia.com, which went on-line June 19.

Last May, Corporate Communications Manager Tracey Budz and District Business Manager John Hultgren shot 55 high definition video clips at the KY-5, KY-6, KY-9, and KY-101 bases. News media can now request a short-duration password from our corporate office to access the web site, where they will find the video clips categorized and where they can preview a low-resolution flash video and then download the full resolution electronic version in a common format that all television stations should be able to edit.

Staff can now direct the media or other customers to our corporate office for access.

Since providing news media with video that shows Air Methods in a positive manner is a very valuable opportunity, ease of use, speed, and the newest 1920 x 1080 HD format were very important features to implement. There are also additional section of the Internet site for high resolution photographs, high resolution art work, and special press release packages.

In July, Budz and Hultgren are scheduled to shoot additional video at the corporate campus and the HBS bases surrounding Denver. All of these video clips will eventually be edited into two HD movies: one for new employees, and one for customers.
