June 1, 2009 AMKY, Sullivan University Join Forces Through EMBA Program
Lexington, KY-- Air Methods Kentucky recently was the focus of an Executive MBA (EMBA) marketing class at Sullivan University headed by Dr. Dotty Heady. As a former EMBA student of “Dr. Dot,” AMKY Business Development Manager David Williams remembered how the professor worked to give students real-world experiences in the business world. With a dual goal of developing marketing ideas and inspiration for the company as well as helping his Alma Mater, David asked Dr. Dot if they could combine forces by letting the current marketing class focus on a project for AMKY.
"Taking part in this project allowed us to gain an outsider's perspective to our company and our challenges,” said AMKY Area Business Director Ron Walter. “We came away with some fresh insights on the marketing issues we deal with on a day-to-day basis, which is very valuable. David deserves props for orchestrating this mutually beneficial endeavor.”
