Medical Team When
you’re in the business of saving lives, quality and experience matter.
Air Methods Kentucky was the first Kentucky-based air medical transport
company to earn national accreditation, having been certified by the
Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) for
over a decade. Our flight crews, aircrafts and communications system
guarantee that patients and medical service providers receive the
highest level of care and service. Paramedics:
Our
paramedics bring an average of 14 years experience in the communities in
which they serve. In addition, Air Methods requires its paramedics to
obtain national critical care certification as a Certified Flight
Paramedic (FP-C) from the Board for Critical Care Paramedic
Certification. Nurses:
Our nurses have an average of 14 years
of critical care and emergency department experience, and many are
nationally-certified flight nurses as well as Critical Care or Emergency
Nurse credentialed. Our team members come to us highly trained and are required to continue ongoing educational programs in the latest clinical updates that include clinical experience at some of the region's most prestigious health care facilities. When your patient or loved one is in the care of the Air Methods Kentucky team, you can be assured we have the expertise and equipment necessary to provide the most appropriate care.
